For the attention of the SIMS System Manager and Options / Timetable Manager
EIS has issued Information Notice 09-E48 which contains advice on creating the new academic year in SIMS .net so that a new Option scheme can be started. Please note that these instructions assume the school will use NovaT6 to write the timetable for 2010/11. NovaT4 should not be used for this purpose. This notice is now available on the EIS Website www.eiskent.co.uk under the Information Notices section. EIS would be grateful if this information could be passed to the School Timetabler, Options user (if different person) and the School SIMS System Manager.
