Spring 2010 School Census - Contact Relationship Issue – Validation Error 2577
Version 1.2 of the DCSF validation has revealed an issue in the School Census application when it is dealing with contact relationship to a pupil. The application is using the Relationship Lookup Code when it should be using the Relationship Lookup Category. In the majority of cases the Code and the Category are exactly the same, but it is possible that a school has created its own Lookup Code and linked it to the Lookup Category. Where the application finds a Lookup Code that does not correspond with one of the Lookup Categories specified by the DCSF, the application will miss out the Relationship, which will generate validation error 2577.
Capita have provided Patch 14063 to resolve this issue. If you are getting validation error 2577, please contact the EIS Service Desk so that the patch can be released to you.
For those schools who have already logged a call with the Service Desk regarding this validation error, patch 14063 has been made available to you via SOLUS.
