Tracking Pupil Progress KS1 & KS2 (CES Tracking Progress)

CES Points Progress Templates
(Tracking Pupil Progress)

These resources work in conjunction with the Tracking Pupil Progress (CES Tracking) marksheets which many schools are now using. There are two sets of templates available:

1.    CES Progress Y# Aut to Sum All Subjects

These marksheets calculate points progress from Autumn to Summer term in each year.  These marksheets are designed to be used for each of the Years 1 to 6.

2.    CES Progress Y# to Y# Summer All Subjects

These marksheets calculate points progress from summer to summer.  They will also calculate points progress from KS1 in Year 4 onwards.  These marksheets are designed to be used from Year 2 onwards.

 3.    CES Progress Y# to Y# Termly All Subjects

These marksheets calculate points progress from the previous summer to each of the terms in the next year, i.e. summer to autumn, summer to spring, summer to summer.

 CES Progress KS1 to KS2

This marksheet calculates points progress from KS1 to KS2 teacher assessments.

CES Average Points Score
(Tracking Pupil Progress)

These marksheets calculate average points score (APS) across all subjects on a termly basis.  Formulae also show the difference in the APS from term to term (Autumn will look to previous Summer) and give a Progress Grade (Yes/No) from one term to next, dependent upon whether the APS has increased. CES Year on Year Review Templates
(Tracking Pupil Progress)

These marksheets show attainment in a single subject at the end of each of the years 1 to 6, allowing you to review progress in a subject as pupils move through school.

These individual report templates allow schools to report pupil attainment on a termly basis. Reports are held for Autumn, Spring and Summer. All Individual Reports begin with TP Year #

SIMS Actual vs Target  - A Tracking Grid that is designed to compare actual attainment against the school target.  The columns should be set to display results for the Actual (teacher assessment) aspect (selecting from the dropdown box) and the rows should be set to display results for the Target (right click on the row heading and Select Assessment for Rows).

Additional marksheets are available which allow you to calculate the overall English level for Years 3 through to 6, as an average of Reading and Writing only. The marksheets are named “CES Tracking Progress En Excl S&L Year#”.

These marksheets should be used instead of the standard Capita CES Tracking Progress English resources, if you wish to calculate the English level on this basis. You will need to delete any existing English marksheets which will be named “CES Tracking Progress English Year #”.
